What are the benefits of buying a glass bottle?

Glass is reusable and offers a pure taste.

When using glass, harmful chemicals won’t leak into your liquids.

Choosing a glass bottle instead of a single-use plastic bottle helps prevent waste in our landfills.

Where are Lifefactory bottles and components made?

Glass Hydration Bottles and Glass Baby Bottles are made in France.

Classic Caps are made in Poland and the USA. Straw Caps, Active Caps & Pivot Straw Caps are made in the USA.

Silicone straws, silicone valves and the silicone sleeves are made in the USA.

The silicone nipples for the Lifefactory 120ml & 265ml Glass Baby Bottles are made in France.

The cap, ring and stopper set and our solid flat caps are made manufactured in the USA.

All Lifefactory components are assembled in the USA.

What are the sleeves on Lifefactory bottles made of?

The sleeves are medical grade silicone which is derived from silica, the most common constituent of sand, plus other materials.

Why do Lifefactory bottles have a silicone sleeve?

Our silicone sleeves were designed not only to look stylish but also help protect the bottle from the occasional bump and drop. The material and design combine to improve the grip on the bottle and reduces the potential for breakage.

Does Lifefactory sell its sleeves separately?

No, silicone sleeves are not sold separately.

How do I wash the bottle?

All components of Lifefactory products can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. The silicone sleeve does not have to be removed from the bottle in order to clean it. It is recommended to place caps on the top rack of the dishwasher.

If you wish to remove the sleeve it’s best to use warm, soapy water to carefully slide the sleeve off of the glass. To put the sleeve back on the product, use warm soapy water to slide the sleeve back onto the glass. Rinse off any residual soap from the bottle and let dry.

Do not boil the glass hydration bottle.

Can I put boiling water in my hydration bottle?

No, the glass hydration bottles cannot be used with boiling water since it is made from soda lime glass. Although soda lime glass is strong, it is not resistant to rapid temperature changes or impact. If the bottle is left in a car during extreme temperatures, glass can become damaged. It will expand and crack if left in the freezer or hit with boiling water.

Can I put the hydration bottle filled with water in the freezer?

Do not put the glass hydration bottles in the freezer or boiling water. See Care & Use instructions for details.

Can I boil and freeze the baby bottle?

Yes. Lifefactory glass baby bottles are made from high quality thermal shock-resistant borosilicate glass which allows a safe transition from the freezer to boiling water. Borosilicate glass is known for its superior durability, chemical and heat resistance, and is excellent for use in chemical laboratory equipment and cookware.

When freezing, store the bottle in an upright position. Do not fill to the top. Leave a minimum of approximately 58 ml of open space from the neck of the bottle to allow for expansion and prevent glass breaking whilst frozen. See Care & Use instructions for details.

Are your glass bottles microwave safe?

Our glass bottles are not microwave safe. 

Do Lifefactory baby bottles have a venting system?

Yes, the silicone nipples have a traditional venting system. Tightening the ring too much will prevent ventilation and may cause nipple collapse.

What kind of nipple is on Lifefactory baby bottles?

The 120ml baby bottles include the Stage 1 (0-3 months) silicone nipple. The 265ml baby bottles include the Stage 2 (3-6 months) silicone nipple.

Does Lifefactory carry other stage nipples?

Yes, there are 4 silicone nipples available: stage 1 (0-3 months), stage 2 (3-6 months), stage 3 (6+ months), and the Y-cut nipple.

Does Lifefactory sell replacement parts?

Yes, several options are offered: Hydration accessories, silicone nipples, sippy caps, and solid caps.

Delivery FAQ's

When will my order ship?

Orders are usually despatched within 24 hours of receipt.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard delivery is free for UK orders.

Next day delivery (only available for UK mainland orders) is £6.50.

How long will it take to arrive?

Standard deliveries are sent via Royal Mail 48 service and will normally be delivered within 2-5 working days. The majority arrive within 48 hours however some may take longer. Royal Mail delivery times are currently being affected by the coronavirus situation and the peak delivery time season.


Next day delivery orders must be received no later than 2pm for delivery the following day.  Deliveries will take place between 09.00 – 18.00. You will receive a 1 hour delivery slot via email or text from our courier.


  • Orders received after 2pm Thursday will be despatched Friday to arrive Monday.
  • Orders received after 2pm Friday will be despatched Monday to arrive Tuesday.
  • Next day delivery is not available when the following day is a bank holiday. Deliveries will be placed as soon as possible thereafter.
Do you ship outside of the UK?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to countries outside of the UK.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Paypal

How secure is my payment data?

All online orders are encrypted using Barclays ePDQ or the PayPal security system depending on your choice of payment method.  Your data will be managed on the secure server according to our agreement with each company.  We cannot keep records of your credit card details.

How are the prices quoted?

All prices are shown in GBP and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise.

Returns FAQs

Can I return my order?

If you wish to return an item for any reason, we will provide you with a refund or replacement without fuss. Please notify our Customer Service Team within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery by contacting [email protected]

 When returning please note:

  • Ensure a copy of your invoice is returned with the goods and where possible please include tags and any packaging.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is packaged carefully. Failure to do so may result in your return being refused and/or any refund due being reduced.
  • We cannot accept any return items which have been used.
  • The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
  • We recommend you obtain your receipt as proof of return from your local Post Office.
  • Please do not return any items that were purchased from another retailer.

Any returns which are after 14 days are at our discretion.

What do I do if there is a fault with my product?

If you believe your product to be faulty, please return the item to the retailer where you purchased it, with proof of purchase, where under your statutory rights, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, within a reasonable time period.

In addition, on certain Lifefactory brand products, Lifefactory offers an extended guarantee that for up to 5 years from the date of purchase, they will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Details of whether your Lifefactory product is covered by an extended warranty are contained in the instruction sheet supplied with your Lifefactory  product.  If an extended guarantee applies this is also listed in the ‘Features’ area of the product listing on the website.

Please note that we do not accept any costs in relation to the product returned to us under this warranty. Once we have received the product, we will, at our option, repair or replace the faulty product with the same or an equivalent product. This manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to and in no way infringes your statutory consumer rights.
